Harley Davidson

The men and women who protect and defend our country in the military are bona fide heroes. Along with first responders, they put their lives on the line for the sake of the American people. As a strong supporter of our armed forces, and especially veterans, Harley-Davidson has decided to offer free Riding Academy New Rider Courses to current and former U.S. military personnel, as well as first responders. Registration is already open and you can sign up for a course anytime in 2016.

The Harley-Davidson Riding Academy New Rider Course involves a classroom component as well as driving lessons on the practice range to get you nice and comfortable cruising around on a motorcycle. First, you’ll learn a bit about the bike you’ll ride and discuss riding-safety rules. Once you’re on the motorcycle, your expert instructor will teach you how to brake, turn, control skids and overcome obstacles. At the end of the course, Harley-Davidson will issue you a card that, depending on where you live, could exempt you from the driving portion of your motorcycle license test and give you a discount on motorcycle insurance.

Military personnel who are currently stateside can take the course at their local Harley-Davidson dealership. If there isn’t a location nearby that offers the course, Harley-Davidson will even reimburse you for an alternate but similar course! With a valid certificate of completion and a receipt from the company where you took the other riding lesson, you get a Harley-Davidson gift card equal to the fees you paid. If you’re deployed overseas, you may register for a voucher that allows you to complete the riding course through 2017, whenever you return home.

Don’t miss your chance to score biking lessons courtesy of Harley-Davidson! And if you’re in the market for a motorcycle, come to our Harley-Davidson dealership in Manchester, NH, for a test-drive today.
