When the average layperson thinks of Harley-Davidson, chances are the first thing that pops into his or her head is an image of a bandana-wearing macho man or a street-tough lady burning up the city streets on a gleaming Fatboy. He or she might also imagine a rugged wanderer riding a steel horse down the highway. But in reality, the average Harley fan has a regular job, a home to return to at the end of the day and loved ones that he or she cares about. It’s these people, and this reality, that Harley is spotlighting with its latest ad campaign, and you can see the first spot in the campaign below.
Fans from all over the country are gearing up for the biggest biker bash of them all this coming March: Daytona Bike Week! Every year, bikers gather together for a solid week of fun and camaraderie. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the motorcycling extravaganza, and Harley-Davidson will be the official motorcycle sponsor during the 2016 festivities.
Have you had a chance to see the latest bikes to join the Harley-Davidson lineup? If not, then feast your eyes on the brand’s latest and greatest. Harley-Davidson is continuing its domination of the big-bike market in the United States with the all-new CVO Pro Street Breakout and the Low Rider S. They’re sure to make a big splash with bikers everywhere!
If you ask your average person, especially someone from the United States, what they think of when they hear the name Harley-Davidson, chances are you’ll get pretty similar answers. Most imagine some big, bad hog like the Harley-Davidson Low Rider rumbling down the street in style, or a posse of Fat Boys burning up the wide-open highway toward the sunset. But Harley-Davidson has a long history of sport and racing success, too. The Milwaukee Harley-Davidson Museum will remind folks of that with a couple of all-new exhibits that just opened up this month.
If you’re a fan of both HBO’s massively popular adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s book series A Song of Ice and Fire and of America’s favorite brand of motorcycle, then this next bit of news should be right up your alley. Discovery Channel is in the process of filming a new miniseries based on the true story of the Milwaukee natives who created a motorcycle empire, and the network just cast two actors from Game of Thrones in the lead roles.
Harley-Davidson isn’t just a motorcycle brand. It’s a pop-culture staple, a part of American history and a particular way of life. That’s why so many people ride Harley bikes on the highways and byways of this great nation, and it’s why one of the most popular attractions in Milwaukee is the official Harley-Davidson Museum. Now the museum is making itself even more enticing to Harley fans by offering nearly a million people throughout the world free access to its exhibits and collections.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas everywhere you go, and Hanukkah is already here. Everyone’s getting into Holiday Mode these days, from the music to the malls to the sometimes-maddening traffic. Harley fans are getting into the spirit too, and that certainly includes our Harley-Davidson dealership near Nashua, NH. We’re kicking off a major Holiday Celebration Event, ringing in the end of the year with big savings that grow with each passing day, and we wanted to let our blog readers know about the specials so they can get in on that action!
Harley-Davidson teamed up with Lockheed Martin, a global security and aerospace company, to create a one-of-a-kind chopper that honors the U.S. Navy and the city of Milwaukee. The project was commissioned after the USS Milwaukee became the nation’s fifth Littoral Combat Ship. (more…)
The men and women who protect and defend our country in the military are bona fide heroes. Along with first responders, they put their lives on the line for the sake of the American people. As a strong supporter of our armed forces, and especially veterans, Harley-Davidson has decided to offer free Riding Academy New Rider Courses to current and former U.S. military personnel, as well as first responders. Registration is already open and you can sign up for a course anytime in 2016. (more…)
Harley-Davidson has been inspiring people all over the world for decades. With their rugged brand image, powerful performance and variety of models fit for all sorts of environments, H-D bikes have always been the epitome of cool. As such, they’ve been featured in movies and highly cinematic advertisements many times before, on both the big and small screens. Director Andreas Bruns brings us yet another example, an emotional short film that gives a subtle nod to that famous brand. Only this time, Harley-Davidson had nothing to do with the production at all.
