Harley-Davidson Announces Brand New 2015 Road Glide Models!

2015 HD Road GlideAs they eagerly anticipate the unveiling of its 2015 lineup, fans of Harley-Davidson have some big news to tide them over for the next few weeks. We’re excited to tell you that the makers at Harley have just announced that the 2015 Road Glide and Road Glide Special will arrive at Harley-Davidson dealerships on August 26!

Revealed last week at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, these bikes boast a brand-new design thanks to the customer-led development in Project RUSHMORE. With multiple performance improvements and new design features like dual reflector Daymaker LED headlights and all-in-one brake, turn and taillights, the Road Glide offers a next-generation design while providing all the high-powered performance of a classic Harley-Davidson.

“The Road Glide has always been a bike for a rider who’s cut from a different cloth, a person who wants to make a statement as they chase the freedom of the road,” said Michael Goche, product planning manager. “This new model respects that spirit while offering a significant improvement in aerodynamic and ergonomic comfort, LED lighting and the full suite of Project RUSHMORE features that have been such a huge hit with touring riders around the world.”

The new 2015 Road Glide will give you the most comfortable Harley ride you’ve ever experienced thanks to a triple splitstream vent to reduce head buffeting and a 4.3-inch color Boom! Box infotainment system controlled by a pair of joysticks. When you’re driving these new bikes, onlookers will marvel not just at the motorcycle’s brand-new design, but also at your incredible speed, thanks to the high output twin cam V-Twin engine. The Road Glide Special, meanwhile, enhances your ride even further with a bigger touch-screen infotainment system with navigation, Reflex linked brakes, hand-adjustable rear suspension and exclusive painted styling.

We’re just as excited as you are about these brand new models from Harley-Davidson. Stop by our NH Harley-Davidson dealership later this month to pick one up!

Harley-Davidson Reveals Plans for 73rd Annual Daytona Bike Week

RUSHMORE

Here at Manchester Harley-Davidson, we could use a little glimpse of spring as we shovel out our driveways for what seems like the hundredth time this winter. That’s why we’re excited by Harley-Davidson’s recent reveal of its plans for the 73rd Annual Daytona Bike Week taking place in Daytona, Fla., in just a few weeks!

An ongoing tradition since 1937, the annual Bike Week now sees hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from around the world flock to Daytona each spring. Naturally, Harley-Davidson has been a big part of Bike Week’s history, and it’s planning to host a comprehensive list of displays and activities once again in 2014. And as a recent release from Harley says, all of Harley’s events will take place at a single display area this year, rather than splitting up between Beach Street and Daytona International Speedway as in years past.

“We’re consolidating into one action-packed display at the Speedway to make it easier for our fans to experience everything we have in one easy-to-access location,” said Paul James, Harley-Davidson’s director of consumer events.

The events that James speaks of should interest Harley lovers of every kind. At Daytona Bike Week, Harley will display 2014-model-year motorcycles, clothes and apparel, H-D1 customization and more. Harley-Davidson will offer demo rides for 2014-model-year bikes, plus the new Project RUSHMORE touring models, all week long. And they’ll also host The Harley-Davidson Ride-In Custom Bike Show on March 12, with donations being directed to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Harley is also teasing a special announcement and “electrifying” display on March 8, and that’s enough to carry those of us at our Harley dealership in Manchester through the end of winter.

If you plan to head down to Daytona for this year’s Bike Week, let us know in the comments!
